independent study.

an independent study, online training experience, without the
hassle of extended travel times and hours of traditional classroom training, then the Six Sigma Partnering
online Internet based training is for you.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt,
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt or Design for
Six Sigma certification will be granted upon successful course completion by
Six Sigma Partnering LLC.
The
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt or
Design for Six Sigma training can begin immediately upon registration and
fee payment.

class sessions with the Instructor in support of the distance training process
as may be required.
Arrangements for date and time of the class are made between the
Instructor and the participant
.
Virtual classes are not mandatory and are only conducted upon
request of the training program participant. If the
participant has a Webex account, Webex based virtual class meetings may
be arranged as well.-

are
supplied.

Certification is granted to the
participant by Six Sigma Partnering upon successful training program completion.

The student must purchase the course textbook separately, Implementing Six Sigma,
Second Edition, by Forrest W. Breyfogle II for the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt,
Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training programs. The textbook
applicable to the
Design for Six Sigma online program is Design for Six Sigma, by
Geoff Tennant. The student has up to one year to complete training program requirements.
A one year training program extension is available if needed. |

Interest and/or experience in business process improvement, quality
improvement methods, reengineering, total quality management and/or statistical methods. |

Distance Training - The
Detailed Process:
1. The
participant submits the Six Sigma Partnering
online distance registration form.
2. The student selects a payment method (check, purchase order, credit card or wire
transfer) and remits program fee to Six Sigma Partnering LLC.
3. The
participant obtains the course textbook,
Implementing Six Sigma, directly from a publisher.
Links to publisher's online order pages are provided on the Six Sigma
Partnering web site for your convenience. Prices for used and new
books range from $30 to $90 dollars usd.
4. Six Sigma Partnering delivers the training course syllabus, problem assignment list and
Six Sigma Black Belt Software tools to the student by email attachment or file download.
5. The
participant is provided the email address of a Six Sigma Partnering,
Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Senior Instructor to
submit assignments to and to go to with questions on the text based material
or exercises. Six Sigma Partnering Instructors are available on a reasonable 24/7 basis.
6. The online training program
participant and Instructor
may agree to periodic MS Live Messenger based virtual class sessions if needed.
Virtual class sessions are not a requirement, but are intended to provide
an additional opportunity for the participant to ask questions and obtain clarification of
lean six sigma concepts and problems.
7. The participant begins independent study by reading a chapter and
completing the syllabus assigned exercises. Upon completion of an assignment, the student transmits the document as an email attachment to
his/her personal Six Sigma Partnering Instructor for evaluation. It is
asked that only one assignment be submitted per email to limit the attached
file size and facilitate quick evaluation and feedback from the Instructor.
8. The Six Sigma Partnering, Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Senior Instructor provides acknowledgement to the
participant of acceptance of the assignment or whether they should resubmit. If the assignment is unsatisfactory, the
participant will receive feedback guidance from the Instructor via email on how to correctly approach or perform the assignment. The
participant then resubmits the corrected assignment at his/her convenience and is given the "ok" to proceed with
Lean Six Sigma study.
Sometimes a student may obtain guidance and clarification at during a MS
Live Messenger based virtual class as arranged.
9. The participant proceeds with lean six sigma study until all required assignments are successfully completed
from the textbook.
10. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and
Lean Six
Sigma Master Black Belt training program participants conduct a "live" or a simulated Six Sigma
improvement project in their workplace or other venue of interest. As
objective evidence of completion of the six sigma project the participant submits
the final project report or it's Executive Summary to the Six Sigma Partnering Instructor.
The Instructor evaluates the report for understanding of the six sigma
methodology, use of the DMAIC process improvement model, and for use of six
sigma techniques, tools, and metrics. Under special circumstances, a waiver of the six sigma project may be
obtained. In it's place, a research paper (4-10 pages in length) on a
lean six sigma topic is
required. The Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) online course does not
require a project.
11. Upon successful course completion, Six Sigma Partnering delivers an
email "Letter of Commendation for Course Completion" and
grants certification upon the participant as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt,
Lean Six
Sigma Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, or Design for Six
Sigma Black Belt. Six Sigma Partnering delivers a digital (Adobe pdf) certificate,
suitable for printing and framing, to the participant.
